🧵 So I've been posting pictures from our epic 2024 family summer #roadtrip, and will continue to for a bit, but I want to share some more details. Trip: 14 days, 2875 miles, 7 states, 4 #nationalparks, 5 national forests, 2 national monuments, 1 national memorial, and 1 state park.
You wonder why these values aren't universal in our country.
If this country was truly “pro-life,” we would have Medicare for All, a Green New Deal, gun reform, universal child care, and a living wage.

$200M to build a guided ballroom in the Whitehouse but we don't have money for Medicare, child cancer research, teachers, air traffic controllers, park rangers.... need I go on.

It looks like the billionaires in charge may be done with Trump. They got their tax breaks and now you're not seeing any of the distractions take over the media and no that's not because "we" are keeping the Epstein files relevant. News orgs will force whatever they want into our feeds or TV.

I posted on the two National Parks we visited this summer and while not near the level of Grand Teton and Yellowstone last year the NPs were great and the rangers there were awesome. Donate if you can. NPF even has a chance to win a trip!

I keep learning of more garbage in the big beautiful bill. There is nearly $1B for ICE agent bonuses that amount to ~$42k per agent. That is insane.
