A beautiful man. What a night. Deserves the season he's having.
Where do I start my petition for Feyenoord to buy Troy Parrott?

Still early days but I always felt there was more there with Amorim even though you would have to admit at times the inflexibility was borderline suicidal. However this season was always a brand new season and should be judged as such in isolation and the sign of improvement is ever increasing.
Could well be, but I quietly think that everybody has gone extraordinarily early with all these Amorim takes. The theatre of the Grimsby game (and the memes) gave people license to lose the run of themselves. It's literally August. Ultimately, his inflexibility prob kills him but still.

Call me crazy, but if Utd have signed a keeper who can:

1. Stop throwing the ball into his own net.
2. Catch a ball from a cross.
3. Stop consistently passing the ball to the other team.
4. Not jump out of the way of a one on one.

They might significantly improve results.
Manchester United have completed the signing of goalkeeper Senne Lammens.

He has signed a five-year contract.

Watching Dybala run to Ferguson as if he's finally found his perfect man after brilliant hold up play and lay off for the goal.. cinema for the Irish football fan.

Watching El Shaarawy for Roma (he's now 32 years old but still seems like an as yet untapped talent) and I'm 99% sure that is exactly how everybody will feel about Garnacho when he's that age.

Amorim getting pelters and that's quite easy a conclusion for other fans to come to but as a Utd fan of many years, it is impossible to know if Amorim is the intellectual with an actual plan, surrounded by brainless players and corporate know-nothing executives, OR if he is too grossly underskilled.

If this rain doesn't stop the match will be abandoned... we hope!

This is the most farcical match I've ever seen.

I would like to stop watching Diogo Dalot play football quite soon. Thanks.

West Ham are the most consistent team in terms of fans leaving the stadium early that I've seen in all my years watching premier league.

Things to remember, Hojlund is 22 years old. He just turned 21 when he joined Utd. In this context combined with injuries, he had a brilliant 1st season with ETH's Utd a clearly better team with him in the side. He had a truly awful season last year but the negative opinions on him are waaay OTT.
Rasmus Hojlund says he wants to stay at Manchester United this season and claims he welcomes any competition as his club eye a move for RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko.

A reminder for all the "can Evan Ferguson revive his career?" dopes out there, he is 20 years old... 20. Years. Old.

Got the feeling tonight at some stages that the Irish players routinely knew where their next pass was going before playing it and it's been a while since we could say that. Idea really simple and suited to our players. Been clear since the start how forward thinking we are with the ball too. Nice.

Indeed.
The technical level of these PSG players is collectively up there with as good as you'll ever see.

Man Utd would really benefit from McTominay right about now. He'd fit in this system nicely, was reliable, had legs for days, could crash the box and score a goal... another terrible squad building decision based on finances rather than football.

Very pathetic from Utd not to lay a real punch all game. Spurs with their 2 best players unavailable and their 3rd best starting from the bench. Utd with as strong a line up as you could wish for at this stage of the season realistically.

Think Fernandes doesn't suit CM in this high emotion type game. Can see he's too flustered.
