A mind-bending meditation on death, decay and what we make of the precious little time we have, i’m a little fruit fly is a bold, genre-defying debut that reveals something different with every reading.

One of the most interesting #translation projects I've done of late, a #Luxembourgish investigative journalism podcast into the biggest financial #fraud to ever hit the country's social sector

Check it out here: 100komma7.lu/show/The-Car...

#PENTranslates is now open to UK publishers looking to publish great fiction, non-fiction, poetry and more in #translation!

Knud Petersen's queer, working-class memoir Once When I Was A Girl: Memories of a Him-Girl would be a great candidate, especially in light of the recent Supreme Court ruling.

What really hit me with this book – and why I chose to pitch a chapter from near the end of the book, rather than the beginning – was this section. This book was written in the late 1940s but this passage feels just as relevant today, specifically in relation to the "Everything is H*mas" brigade...

NEW SAMPLE ALERT!

I am SO excited about this one. Once, When I Was A Girl is a queer, working-class memoir that reads like a novel. Knud proves to be a remarkable translator who initiates the reader into the world of 'him-girls' in early 20th-century Copenhagen.

This, and I cannot stress this enough, is EXTREMELY funny to me – talk about getting a taste of one's own medicine 😆
