Tharizdun is the big bad of my current game, so I'm revisiting The Lost Caverns of Tsojcanth. Strange relics, old powers, forgotten lore. It quietly sets the stage for darker stuff like the Temple of Tharizdun. You feel the shadow before you meet it. Lots of worldbuilding.

Going back to the original Ravenloft module. Still one of the best adventures ever written. Tight location, smart clues, real tension, and Strahd feels like a character not just a stat block. Gothic dread done right.

OSR vs NSR comes up from time to time, and honestly I see them as cousins. OSR leans into classic play: rulings over rules, exploration, danger, and player skill. NSR keeps that energy but strips things down even more and goes rules-lite.
