It’s to give Maura Healey cover while she continues pushing for more conservative Dem policies. Simple as that. That’s the strategy. It’s a strategy for the Governor, not for the people.

I would really appreciate @elizabeth-warren.bsky.social and @edmarkey.bsky.social going beyond their NO votes and calling for new leadership in the Senate. We deserve better than someone who is willing to roll over without getting anything in return.

Since Trump got elected again, Maura has been saying plenty of things that sound right. But when you look at what she does, she’s killing our right to shelter and embracing GOP talking points around it. She’s cutting taxes for the wealthy.

Alongside increases in housing production (!!!), we need to invest in housing that is typically not profitable enough for the market to build. We have to accept the new state law. I think eventually you would hear something for setting fines and regulations for enforcement? But not sure
