Wild. What is going on here?
For most/disinfo researchers, this whole thing is a weird new variant on "cheap fakes"
This exchange is so very telling.

Trump repeatedly claims the photoshopped MS-13 on Kilmar Abrego Garcia's knuckles is real, Terry Moran keeps telling him it isn't, prompting Trump to say this:

"I never heard of you. I picked you. You’re not being very nice. He had MS-13 tattooed... Just say yes!"

This is the training I received during my philosophy education and probably provides a pretty good explanation for my behavior now…for better or worse.
As a graduate student I had the fortune to be in a class taught by Hilary Putnam. Another student said she didn’t know what to write for her term paper. Putnam said: open a journal, read a paper, reconstruct the argument carefully. There are ALWAYS errors or leaps. Expose them. Voila!

I think Elon could make a tremendous point about government waste by building the high speed rail better and faster for way cheaper. Killing the project doesn’t prove anything.
Elon Musk has long hated public transit, which he thinks carries a bunch of “serial killers.” He instead wants everyone to drive a car (preferably a Tesla).

Now he has actual government power & is trying to kill off California’s high speed rail project. It’s called killing off the competition. 🧵

The Democrats are very smart to use the atrocious dictatorial tendencies of Trump to make it look like the selection of Democrat candidates is somehow democratic. Lots of people falling for this messaging. This whole thing is really gonna set us back and the duopoly wins again.

We don’t allow littering, why do we allow emissions from cars without the operator taking care of them? Put a balloon on car tailpipes and requires operators to dispose of the emissions. Wild that it’s 2024 and we allow blasé poisoning of the air.

So sad that San Francisco is adding more red tape. I expect this from Peskin and Chan but Breed really shouldn’t be signing these. thefrisc.com/political-po...
Political Power Plays Are Short-Circuiting San Francisco’s Climate Goals
Delivery vans are everywhere. The city needs more places for vehicle fleets to plug in, but some officials are putting up roadblocks.
