I like this metric! I just rode the new Hennepin and give it a 6.5/10. A lot of people walking in the bikeway (it’s good to see people out and it’ll take some time to get used to the new set-up, so no complaints) and lots of cars blocking the bikeway as they try to get onto Hennepin.

The Rush Creek Reserve is a favorite in our house! It's become a tradition for my partner and I to get it every year to celebrate our anniversary.

I want Frey to lose for myriad reasons, but near the top of my list is that their brand of politics needs to be defeated for the benefit of our city.

We’ve also received no mail from either the Frey/AOM ecosystem or Palmisano, and not a single door-knocker has come by. These dynamics are a change from past elections.

For sure. I get that with their leadership, they will always put the interests of big business and those in power first. But at the same time, I hold out hope that they would give at least some consideration to their reputation. Also, they have enough good reporters to do better than they're doing.

This very well could be widely known, but I only learned it when I started working for the City.
Public Works is one of roughly 25 city departments (four percent) but employs roughly one in four of all city employees (25 percent).
