Discovered this great band at a gig on Wednesday - really cool Screamo/Skramz from London! Check them out as their EP is fantastic even though they are scarily young!

Last night's gig was something incredibly special. Being in a tiny venue, playing songs I'm passionate about in front of a crowd getting into it is the best fucking thing in the world.

ppl getting angry at this but he's talking alliances and he's 100% right- you cannot trust a country where every 4 yrs the foreign policy does a complete 180 & tears up treaties and reneges on deals and withholds payments because some sheep farmers in Wisconsin think too many black women have jobs
America is over. There is no coming back from this.
If we're lucky maybe we claw back some small-l liberalism for our daily lives. But even that might be too much to hope for.
The rest of the world has to move on from us.

If you're unaware of Boorman's script LoTR script, it's definitely worth your time. There's much more than Galadriel and Frodo fucking.
In 1970, John Boorman of Zardoz fame wrote a film treatment of LotR.
It is a STINKER of a film, although there are some legitimately interesting ideas tucked into it.

"ReBoot: ReWind, Part 2" - It's awesome that a documentary about the first weekly CG show is being given so much room to breathe and really tell the story of ReBoot's creation.
There's some crazy stuff in here (one of the main involved companies basically 'disappearing').
Absolutely worth a watch.

Day one of recording complete - our drummer being the absolute trooper that he is managed to smash out six songs worth of drums. Only three left to do and then we can make a start with everything else!
