This love-hate relationship with my AI is getting on my nerves. Creating my preferences has made the idiot become a partner. This partner however has moments of brilliance and those of total stupidity. Had some really productive days with my partner doing most of the coding. Tomorrow is another day.

I can't believe how much faster VS2026 is in so many areas. It appears the hot reload works most of the time. Even for Blazor apps!

Search is somehow not improved. I am rather sad about that.

What a summer. Never know what the weather is like from one day to the next. Today we are forced to read our book in beautiful sunshine and a nice breeze. So tough.

Signal is really neat, simple to use, and comes with animated gifs and end-to-end encryption.

Actual, peer-reviewed, end-to-end encryption algorithms, not the proprietary type that you get from billion-dollar corporations.
Here's a concrete thing you can do this week: switch your messaging to Signal, help your contacts do the same. Help make it so mainstream that no one can be cornered with questions about why they are using encrypted messaging.

There is a growing amount of evidence that many humans cannot think or make decisions based on careful consideration. This makes the just copy whatever they hear or read, just like an AI, or am I just pasting this?

A great new year wished to all. That your dreams may come true and your happiness will be at a new high. Life is too short to indulge in a negative spirit, so embrace those positive thoughts.

Last night I watched some TikTok of a girl popping a pimple on her upper lip. This morning I wake up with a pimple in the same spot.

Those internet curses are real sometimes I guess. Should’ve sent it to 10 people 😩

I am looking for a motion sensor that detects both humans in motion and standstill. Think that the HLK-LD2510C is the best choice. Is there a better one that doesn't break the bank?

Going to make a few little sensor boxes to put in every room. Containing: light sensor, motion, temp, humidity, ir, possibly more. What would you add?

You can opt out of Visual Studio Code's Copilot from using your data to train their models.

Works for free and pro users.

This option is enabled by default.

(You'll find this in your Copilot settings.)

Why do I only notice the games of chess that I lose and not those that I win. Yesterday felt annoyed I lost again, only to notice later that I had won convincingly. Why did I feel as if I lost? I am an optimist, or am I not? Lol

The bubble makers i printed were tested today and after 30min my wife Jan was still making bubbles and yahooing. So, it's a huge success.

Big thank you to Stag 3D for the wand design, xor-3dpr for the tray design and makerworld for sharing the designs.

One of the most enjoyable things to do with an ai is giving it some code and asking it to add either a non functional requirement (like testability, reliability) or convert it to another language. Heaps of fun.
