The fate of Ophelia is my fav so far on the new Taylor Swift album. I am digging this poppy disco groove.

I was up early today, and Starlink was down. This is important to note because we live in a forest right now, and we have no other way to get to the internet than Starlink. It was down for over three hours, and you know, in 2025, kind of wonder if the world exploded while you were asleep.

Finally got a photo, even if meh, of the #warbler. All summer I've been hearing him. Ay last! #birds

Magpies, like pigeons or gulls. Still so odd to me after living all these months in CO. #birds

My father died when his plane crashed in Mexico when I was 10yo. I'm 54yo now. I've decided to start telling the story of his life as best I can. I haven't decided exactly how the story is going to be shared. I could even give up tomorrow. Get overwhelmed! Change my mind. Until then ⬇️⬇️⬇️

@audiecornish.bsky.social re: yachts podcast. Cleaning the head with a Q-tip might not be about humiliation. It's a legit tool. I have a 1990 Endeavour 42. I am not part of the haves. My yacht is not golden. But it is a yacht worth about $100k.

Besides I saw deer this morning while looking for birds. The doe and her twins were across the river from our campsite, I just need to get up at 6am to see them. The buck was down river a ways. I felt like I was being watched. I was. #deer #wildlife #colorado

Headed out at 6am to see what animals of Pike Forest were up to. All my osprey photos are blurry, just didn't lock on. Bald eagle was still chillin' next to the nest. No bears or foxes. Some mule deer. Saw this yellow one. Hoped it was the warbler I've been waiting for...it's a goldfinch. #birds

I tried #astrophotography with the #GoPro Hero10 last night. These examples are with minimal edits in post. I'm not mad at the job the GoPro did. I'll try again tonight. Supposed to be less clouds. #milkyway #astro #stars

reading Ten #Birds That Changed The World. Perhaps for the first time ever, I've typed 'extinction’ on my phone and realized a Dodo🦤 emoji pops up!

I'm new to living w/ Canada Geese & Merganser ducks. It's been 3 wks. Was surprised & delighted to find a "daycare" down river the other morning. Geese with teens, geese with young goslings, and Merganser mom with ducklings. About 23 babies & 5 parents hanging out. #birds

Reposting as now I am part of an official #birds list on BlueSky. I am delighted!
This handsome fella was tapping around the tree the back window. I think it's a Hairy Woodpecker (thanks to @inaturalist.bsky.social). So formal this Sunday afternoon! #birds #canon

@microsoft.com I'm ready for Windows to have the clipboard memory that Android has. I need to be able to paste more than one nugget of info at a time.

Finally saw a bird that Merlin identified and I heard. I believe this is a pygmy nuthatch! Upside down in a ponderosa pine. #birds

Day 4 at this boondocking spot in San Juan Forest in CO. This morning, the chipmunks appeared from, what I assume was torpor, to scamper about in springtime excitement! First animals we've seen in days. #spring #chipmunks
