My fyp is flooded with video of people living in their cars to save money and how it was a conscious choice. That’s fine, but this is not something that happens in places where there is stability and everything isn’t god awfully expensive. It’s not normal.

My favorite part of my upcoming wedding is the fact that one of my bff’s who is an officiant through the church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster will be conducting the ceremony and I am going to have to explain to my grandparents why he has to wear a colander for it.

I made a lighthearted joke about this place on the cities subreddit and how we probably don’t need another bar at an intersection that has a bar or restaurant at every corner and all the way up the block and people tore me up! Called me a loser, fat and told me they were going to fuck my mom.
A new swanky “social darts” spot opened in my city. Never thought someone would try and gentrify the experience of throwing darts in a local bar, but here we are. And it’s complete with drinks that start at $16 (or $14 for n/a, which is the kind of greed they talk about in the Bible)

Finally got around to buying pants that actually fit me since I had nothing that came even remotely close in my wardrobe. The brown pants fit me without a belt only a year ago. I just bought the jeans today.

Also, get ready for a lot of products to get more expensive. More companies will be paying for their food to be certified by independent orgs to show its good quality. They will no doubt pass that on to the consumer since truly safe, quality food will no longer be the government standard.
If you can afford it, get products that are certified kosher. Especially produce. It’s subject to strict standards and ensures safe quality food. I’ve seen more rabbi’s at work than I have inspectors from the usda.
