NEW: @propublica.org investigated the Chicago apartment raid where kids were zip-tied and citizens detained for hours. They find:

- NONE of the arrested were criminally charged
- NO evidence the building was "filled with TdA terrorists."
- ZERO legitimate reason for DHS to rappel from a Blackhawk.

Oh no. Bill Kristol is going to be the only one with the guts to do this isn’t he?

Yeah it’s a southernism but not sure how regionalized. However, I think I’m going to now dedicate my life to making it a PoliSci technical term. :)

Because this is 100% true: bsky.app/profile/john...
The Epstein story gets a something that is tearing at the heart of the electorate: elite impunity. The idea that wealthy and powerful people can do terrible things *at scale* and face no consequences for them. Whatever political party actually stops it could rule the country for a generation.

But anyway you could tie all this to reforming healthcare and the like. Don’t like sending money to insurance companies? We have a plan to limit them. It’ll lower stock prices too and lower our wealth but we’re willing to do it.

If they really wanted to do more, they could do an anticorruption tour where they do things like ban insider trading talk about a constitutional amendment to limit money in politics banning the filibuster and gerrymandering in point out how this administration has been nothing but self dealing

I was jokingly thinking of telling my students that we might have to burn Harvard down and I think that might not be a joke with the more emails that come out

This also run directly against magisterium teachings. They will have to reject Rome for this to be possible (while ignoring that all their far right heroes like Franco turned on the religious too when they didn’t do what he wanted) and there’s no telling how that will end (jk-Rome will outlast them)

If they don’t stop this, I’m going to have to reactivate. The converts that never left Protestantism behind were already testing me, but this… well, it’ll make my mom happy.

I mean look at the movement to block child marriages in the US. Plenty of people are fine with it as long as it’s done within the bounds of holy matrimony.
