I shared this lanyard system with colleagues on LinkedIn, imagining it as a useful museum technique to help visitors communicate how they want to experience a museum.

Lots of folks loved how autism friendly it was.

Some were insistent that staff must learn to intuit visitor body language.

Perceived performance - arguably as, or perhaps more, important than actual performance
As part of planning what to work on next in the performance space for Visual Studio, we've been thinking a lot about "perceived" performance.

Perceived performance is the time users "think" an operation takes, rather than the actual time it takes.
