(Definitely the best pub view in the world 😊)
The Red Lion staff went above and beyond today. Can’t wait to revisit in the spring 🙂

It's actually okay to put a book down and not finish it if you aren't enjoying it and you aren't required to read it for an assignment or something.
This place needs some Innocuous Discourse pronto. Quote this with a take that’s not political or aggressive

"Imagine my joy when, in the company of my new friends, I saw my young bird companion at last somehow able to take to his wings and fly..."

As I'm sure you're aware, the fifth of January is the day of the Schnabelperchten, a creature of Austrian folklore who will check your house for cleanliness. If they decide you haven't done a good enough job, they'll slit open your belly and fill it with straw. Happy New Year..!

It's freezing outside.
For many it's back to work / school / study.
Here's some warm sunshine to fill your ears.

Episode 223 - Birdsong in deep forest ambience (50mins)

On a steep rough path by a stream, pristine quiet. Just the wind in the firs and birdsong.

Whilst doing my recumbent physio today I glanced up & was struck by something I’d never seen before
What I’d long perceived as a side of the oblong ‘Equivalent’ now looks like a tear within the fabric of the landscape. A rupture enabling the past, present & future to seep in upon each other?… 🤔🙂

So. I went to see Funny Girls in Blackpool last night. (For those that don't know, it's a long running drag cabaret show in England.)

It was fab! But it got me overthinking (pretentious mind dump klaxon) 1/

Your last chance to see the Outsiders exhibition in its current form will be at Street Level Photoworks, Glasgow in April/May. That isn’t the end though as I’m developing a powerful new exhibition on homelessness, in collaboration with another photographer, which will be shown in Leeds in 2027.
