We have 2 feeders and by Aug they are used to our presence on the deck. They'll come right up and hover in front of us like they're saying thank you for the food.

The birds have been active this morning. Catbird was having a bath, cardinal singing from the tippy top of my neighbour's dead tree, and hummingbirds draining our feeder 😍

Just dropped off kid2 at StFX for a hockey officiating development camp and I must say residence rooms are luxe compared to my days on campus. Full fridge, microwave, his own bathroom, it's like a hotel room.

Thankfully no injuries but my bus was in an accident this morning. Driver sideswiped the railings on the ramp from the bridge to Barrington. I'm still shaking
