Just incredibly, unnecessarily cruel. And I’d be shocked if there wasn’t wanton corruption going on here, too.
It literally took decades of advocacy to pass these reforms, which would have prevented prison phone and teleconferencing companies from ripping off inmates and their families to the tune of hundreds of millions annually

Congress set aside contingency funds specifically for SNAP food benefits during government shutdowns.

California won't sit by while the Trump Administration ignores yet another law.

Sorry, but it *is* unnerving. I agree with @rieckhoff.bsky.social that this idea that the military is Trump's personal muscle, and should kill anyone he points at, should be among the biggest stories in America right now.
Hey Tom, saw you on MSNBC earlier today.
That conversation was a bit unnerving.

This is a U.S. citizen being brutally abducted by ICE while his mom pleads for them to stop and the videographer cries for help. The Chicago police do nothing to stop it.

They will come for everyone, and they’re not even hiding that anymore. If you are not organizing and resisting yet, get started.

"Trump promoted a military pay raise of 3.8% for next year, claiming that this was 'something you weren’t getting from the past administration.'"

"Military pay increased by 4.6%, 5.2% and 4.5% in 2023, 2024 and 2025... Military raises are automatically determined by a formula set by law."

@reillyrick.bsky.social Got “Commander in Cheat” on audio. Well done. I even wrote a review. Wonder if a second edition is coming - tho it’s more of the same only more so.

Loved Who’s Your Caddy btw.

Scavino - there’s a piece of work.

Loved the Mickelson quote. With LIV we could get a follow-up

This is a profoundly absurd show of force that could put Californians directly in harm's way.

Flying live rounds over a busy highway without coordination between state, federal, and local partners isn't just wrong — it's dangerous.

We found more than 170 such incidents since the start of the second Trump administration. Our tally — almost certainly incomplete — includes nearly 20 children, two of whom have cancer.

It costs ~$70 to produce a year’s supply of insulin.

Yet, the average annual cost of insulin went from $2,864 in 2012 to $5,705 in 2016 to $18,000 in 2025. A 25,714% markup. That isn’t inflation or supply chain—It’s corporate greed.

Now—California will sell insulin for $11. Make this nationwide!
