With the release of Reflections in a Dying World on Itch (and prev posting projects like The Station & fae gothic here), I've made a small tweak to my bio: 'emerging TTRPG designer', a milestone that I think I'm cautiously ready to own.

Two crowdfunded games came in by mail while I was out of town — Malaysian/Indonesian-inspired ghost tale A PERFECT WIFE and violent melodrama SWORD OPERA! Very excited to tuck into these. #ttrpg

After many months away from the project working on others, I finally sat down and finished a diagram of the play structure for DEVIL'S HOLLOW. Every time I revisit this game, I'm reminded of how *fun* I think it can be, and get excited again to get it into shape to playtest.

15. INTO THE ODD, a deeply flavourful, rules-light game of dungeon crawling in a world that’s very, very strange. I read through the book a while back when I first got it, and was enchanted by how evocative and confident it was, both on the page and in the art.

14. ROM COM DRAMA BOMB by @moreblueberries.bsky.social is such a fun fucking read, playful as hell with genre while still a love letter at its core. Plus, the book is gorgeous, and a great example of how use of colour, font and layout can express vibe and tone.
