I thought if I just dialed down my social media presence I'd be better. Healthier. I got rid of every MAGA glorifier. I limited myself to reading just a few accounts. And even that doesn't work.

Bsky has become such an absurd place. Actual conversations don't take place here: instead it's low-information people making specific and oh-so-certain pronouncements about extraordinarily complicated political phenomena.
I don't know why they do this. Apparently it makes them feel better.
