Anytime I lend/give a book to someone, I always tell them if they see any stains or fingerprints on the pages it's just chocolate or cheeto dust. And I think that tells you everything one needs to know about me.

Last year my younger nephew was the cutest scarecrow ever. This year he is a genuinely scary-looking Grim Reaper with glowing red eyes. What a difference a year makes. And as I type this, I realize he's a literal metaphor. Anyway, I hope he got a ton of candy.

This morning I saw a woman dressed as Red Riding Hood walking her large wolfish-looking dog who was dressed as Grandma. Grandma did in fact have big ears and big teeth. They looked amazing. I will not see a better costume today than that.

Once again, I’ve gone to someone’s feed through a notification and then promptly forgot I wasn’t on my “following” feed and proceeded to like about two dozen of their reposts. I always feel like such a dope when I do that, and I do it about once a week.

I bought a walking pad a few weeks ago. Unpacked it and plugged it in, but it wouldn’t work until I downloaded an app to “register” the device. If I went to the website to try to avoid the app there was no option to register it. I was FORCED to download an app to simply use a product I own.

One of the things that has pretty annoying is that if you have any kind of bullshit meter, if you have anything inside of yourself that doesn’t enjoy being lied to, the last couple of years of almost every area of public life have been driving you up a fucking wall
