Our nation's federal employees are more than just numbers on a spreadsheet.

They make sure we have clean water.

They protect us from financial fraud.

They provide healthcare to our communities.

They make our government actually work for people.

Do not forget this.

We’ve bombed Iran. And dismantled our joint terrorism task force. And sent a third of the FBI to help ICE. And gutted the National Security Council. And a drunk guy is in charge at the pentagon. And our intelligence allies probably won’t share intel with us. Because people couldn’t vote for a woman.

🚨 Rebel News just lost its court battle for official journalism status.

The judge found only 10 of 423 posts met the standard for real news.

The CRA ruled most were opinion, rewrites, or activist fundraising—not journalism.
The ruling makes one thing clear: propaganda isn’t journalism.

Hard to think of a clear depiction of climate politics in Canada than provincial premiers calling for more pipelines and deregulation of oil and gas development as climate-amplified wildfires rage in their own provinces. #cdnpoli

We must call mask bans what they are:

Pro infection ugly laws.

They promote the spread of disease. They encourage cosplaying 2019 “normal” even though the threat of Covid hasn’t passed & we have measles spreading too.

If you can wear a mask, mask up now. We need visible solidarity to fight bans.

We fought for these Centers. Weekly, we saw RFAs granted for other diseases - not ME/CFS. We asked our Representatives to sign letters to NIH supporting us. We finally saw money trickle in from NIH Institutes- not enough, but a start. We are losing the small gains of the 2010s. We must take a stand!
Trump administration has terminated funding for the Center for Solutions for ME/CFS at Columbia University—one of the nation’s leading research centers for ME/CFS, led by Dr. Ian Lipkin.

They're called public records for a reason. Starting today, WIRED will *stop paywalling* articles that are primarily based on public records obtained through the Freedom of Information Act, becoming the first publication to partner with @freedom.press to offer this for our new coverage.
Wired is dropping paywalls for FOIA-based reporting. Others should follow
As the administration does its best to hide public records from the public, Wired magazine is stepping up to help stem the secrecy

The federal government should immediately ban Canadian cable companies from carrying FOX News, which is actively pushing disinformation threatening our sovereignty. Why are we contributing to this dogshit organization's revenue?

Much bigger protests this weekend than last, which were bigger than the week before. This and the town halls and all the other protests and acts of defiance singular or collective should not be dismissed or ignored. By either party or the media.
1/ The nascent Tesla boycott movement got me thinking back to the 80s anti-apartheid movement. How it took off and literally changed the world.

If the South African apartheid regime could be brought down, perhaps one South African oligarch could be? www.motherjones.com/politics/202...
Elon Musk, apartheid, and America's new boycott movement
If you think mass protests can’t combat evil, remember what we did in the 1980s.
