<div class="field field-field-text"><p>Israeli soldiers shot and killed a teenage boy in Yabad, a village in the northern West Bank, the Palestinian Health Ministry said on Friday. </p>
<p>Israeli soldiers gunned down 14-year-old Amro Kabah on the street, and prevented ambulances from providing him with medical treatment, Haaretz reported citing local witnesses.</p>
<p>Kabah's father tried to reach him, but soldiers violently assaulted and arrested him, witnesses added.</p>
<p>The arrest of Kabah's father meant that the Red Crescent was able to swoop in and take Kabah to the hospital, but he was pronounced dead.</p>
<p>The Israeli military have now sealed the main entrance to Yabad with concrete blocks.</p>

Anecdotal, but I'm definitely noticing an uptick in advocacy for violence here. About which I'll say only this: Promoting violence on social media is the work of trolls and fools, those eager to bait others into implicating themselves in the age of surveillance or fools rushing to the gulag.

Whether Judge Boasberg was correct on the law is largely irrelevant to whether the government is in contempt for willfully disobeying it. If the Trump administration knew there was an order from a federal judge and then willfully violated it, that is the end of the analysis.

A federal court’s jurisdiction does *not* stop at the water’s edge. The question is whether the *defendants* are subject to the court order, not *where* the conduct being challenged takes place.
Were it otherwise, the government could act lawlessly overseas and courts would be powerless to stop it.
