Abigail was somehow a very good movie? Maybe because it didn't insist upon itself and it stayed a perfect balance of cheesy and predictable. The movie kept rolling through its progressions and gave great visuals.
I'd say all the characters except one hit the mark.

Holdovers was fine, but I was expecting there to be some more relational aspects that hit hard, some more emotional coming-to-age moments, which if it wasn't going for that's on me.
I guess I was thinking of a lighter Perks of a Wallflower with more jokes and heavier on the Christmas elements?
