Peter Boyles is a Colorado radio legend who struggled with drugs and alcohol. In the 1980s, his best friend, KOA host Alan Berg, implored Boyles to get some help. Weeks later, Berg, who was Jewish, would be assassinated by a white supremacist group. His death sent Boyles reeling.

Rider started chemotherapy this week and her turnaround has been remarkable. She’s stronger, eating full meals again and has more energy. She’s giving me a lot more tail wags too. 😇🥰
