My sweet girl has cancer. I am devastated.
Rider has multiple myeloma, a cancer of plasma cells in the bone marrow. If there’s a ray of hope here it’s that, with treatment, the survival rate *can* be measured in years.
We just gotta hope for the best…

It’s a long story but here’s the headline: My new doctor says I have a type of cognitive disorder that’s unique to people living with HIV and that I don’t have early-onset dementia, which a previous doctor had misdiagnosed.

35 years ago today, Elton John checked into rehab in Chicago for alcoholism, cocaine addiction and bulimia. This was a city rehab, no fancy place. Elton mopped floors. His sponsor was a garbage truck driver. He checked his ego and fame at the door. He’s been sober ever since.
