Good day to remember that a US President has no inherent power over tariffs whatsoever. It’s not like war powers or pardons. It’s entirely delegated by Congress to deal with emergencies. GOP Congress cld modify that law tonight and bring this to a screeching halt.

If the federal gov is gone, maybe the dema should focus on the blue states. Solidify their strongholds, make inroads where they can, and let the deep ted states whither in abject ruin. Stop trying to save people who don’t want to be saved.

Putin made Trump wait almost two hours. Their phone call was supposed to have taken place already, but Putin was still at a conference. When Putin is reminded of the meeting, everyone starts laughing; they're literally mocking Trump.

In all likelihood the democracy we know is gone. It’s time to adapt to a new reality in which there is no security under the rule of law, no opportunity absent money, and economic or environmental future for our children.
