Yes! I loved that show. The story arc with the late Fred Thompson as a media savvy huckster who energizes white supremacists into a violent movement was eerily prescient.

I think an issue ignored in much of this discourse is *what* the other side is voting for (given what all they have seen) & the idea that some (swing?) voters will support authoritarianism or refuse to oppose it because of issues with language. It feels like an abdication of responsibility.
