Not dure about the double act billing here, but at last we have ZS venturing north of the border. We desperately need some Scottish joined up debate about YP and how it relates to the Scottish political situation.

The difficulty of tactical voting in the Holyrood list vote weegingerdug.wordpress.com/2025/05/20/t...
This is a very good explanation of how tactical voting for independence doesn’t work with Holyrood’s hybrid voting system.
The difficulty of tactical voting in the Holyrood list vote
It is now less than a year to the next Scottish Parliament elections and once more social media screen space is being consumed with arguments about tactical voting in the regional list vote. Every …

@ricscotland.bsky.social Excellent RIC meeting today. Decisions to step up the campaign against Farage and Reform, good statement on Trans rights following the so called Supreme Court ruling and preparations to be at the republican rally next month.

Supreme court judgement: Another victory for authoritarians and oligarchs

Very good article showing that the attack on trans’ rights could be used by the authoritarian far right to further attack civil rights. The thin end of the far right wedge.

It's disgraceful how Vance is trying to use Greenland's desire to be independent as a way to attack Denmark and engineer a US take over.

Why is the obvious choice of a #WealthTax still being dodged?

A wealth tax, as well as fairer taxes on corporate profiteers and highest earners, would deliver far more money than any cuts to benefits and public services.

Workers and communities need the government to fight their corner.

Today, I'm back outside a Tesla showroom in Seattle w/ 500 of my friends.

So long as people continue to speak up, authoritarianism will fail.

What happened in the Oval Office today was horrifying - but, as this piece says, there is now no denying the truth of Trump’s alignment with Russia. Everyone who values freedom, democracy and peace must stand full square with Zelensky and Ukraine.

He is not just appeasing Putin, he is aligned with him. And every single client journalist, political shill & public/online cheerleader on both sides of the Atlantic is too. Against Zelensky. Against Ukraine. Against freedom. Against the most basic tenets of decency.

Now Michelle Mone is desperately bringing it up.

If the stakes weren’t so high, the contortions & humiliations of all the people who cheered this in & sneered about ‘Trump Derangement Syndrome’ etc would be absolutely hilarious.
Complete batshit lunacy on the president's Truth Social account. Yes, he really posted this.
