Much as I enjoy Oscar Isaac, I found the monster’s story far more compelling. So yeah, act 1.

Wonder if Mamdani has put the fear of being primaried into Jeffries. If so, good. Maybe he'll start actually fighting.

Some people take this as the author projecting - and I’m sure in some cases they’re right.
But in others, it’s the author simply writing their characters as flawed, not always likable people as opposed to cardboard cutout heroes.
