Vance talks about Canadians blaming Trump as a "bogeyman" for "stagnating living standards" (which, as I said, Canada does not have) when a moment ago he blamed immigrants - the world's oldest bogeyman! - for all of Canada's problems. Vance wants you to believe the real bogeyman is your neighbours.

GDP is a measurement of money spent in an economy. It has no bearing on the actual quality of life or standard of living of its citizens. A person with no health insurance getting hit by a car is a great day for GDP. Taking a second job to pay for your gambling addition is great for the GDP.

The Bible is a book of parables designed to teach lessons through myth and story. To read it as if its a scientific text is wrong. It's why services are chanted, meditation and interpretation of the Word of God being a philosophical one, not one rooted in the scientific method.

I got my first Pens jersey in 92 and then they promptly changed the logo and made me angry.
It was still mostly a "young people" thing in the mid-90s though. So late 90s for it to become commonplace?
