I don’t believe so. Apparently Tag Gallagher has a nicer print, but only released on DVD:

Did a blurb for LWL’s ‘Rotters’ special this year:

Perhaps the Frenchest thing I’ve ever seen, from the adultery set-up to the bobbed hair to the understated FIN. Whack it in a triple bill with 7th Heaven (1927) and Big City (1937) of films where taxi drivers flock to the rescue, to the detriment of the film. Starts well, runs out of steam. Bof.

Kalifornia (1993). Full of interesting ideas: principally true crime & transgressive art meeting the reality… tho since that reality is also highly stylised here, it doesn’t quite work. Beautifully shot, though, & at times very well acted. Pitt is pretty good, Forbes memorable, and Lewis spectacular

This is obviously the right decision – and was inexplicably poor form from the makers – but issuing these quotes following a verdict about how you’re not an objectionable snob is quite funny www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Enjoyed this unpretentious Fox film, a Western variation on the studio’s violent ‘30s crime film, ‘Show Them No Mercy!’ Everyone involved is on solid if unspectacular form. Dudley Nichols dialogue, refined villain, Hathaway having fun with Jack Elam’s physicality. Insanely misrepresentative poster.

Broad church latest: Powell is one of the eight MPs who were at the centre of Labour Together during the McSweeney years. Phillipson was one of the other seven.

Anyone seen the Peter Hitchens biopic? Surely the worst casting ever. The only bit that rings true is when he charms Eva Mendes into bed by telling her that drug addiction isn’t real.

BANKS was great. Barnstorming ‘Meddle in the Mold’, ‘Contaminated’ and ‘Waiting Game’. New album has its duff songs, ideal for having a nice sit down, but her back catalogue is immense. Yes please
