In Richfield's recent school board race, which was not competitive because there were 3 people running for 3 seats, these are the results. Carter was the only incumbent on the ballot, and received the least votes, which I think says something about how people feel about him.

Lomabonita Mercado finally opened today at the HUB! Most of the parking in the strip was taken up by people checking it out! Tons of raffle prizes were given out, they had a Mariachi band, and traditional Mexican dancers! So excited for this addition to our town!

If you haven't seen, there are 4 people who have signed up for the Richfield School Board race. There are only 3 seats up for election.

UNITY IN THE COMMUNITY 2025 is August 14, 4-7PM. There will be over 1000 backpacks for our kids gearing up for school! There will be lots of fun activities, resources, performers and more!! We’ll see you tomorrow at Richfield Community Band Shell/ Veterans Memorial Park.

Interesting that the percentage of staff at Richfield Public Schools that would recommend the district to parents has risen from 68% to 85% in the last 4 years.

Hard to have a good district if 2/3s of staff won't recommend it; this shows good changes have been happening
