Using AI to compose your work isn't just lazy and unethical. Countless authors have had their work pirated to train AI programs without their knowledge, consent, or proper compensation. If you're using AI to generate your content, you are participating in that theft.

Addendum: No matter what, we're not going to stop what we're doing unless these Nazis physically prevent us from publishing books.
If South Dakota criminalizes books they deem harmful to minors (translation diversity in literature), I'm either going to jail or will have to leave the state. A bill threatening librarians with jail time passed committee yesterday. Only a matter of time before they come for me, too. Good times.

Seriously, creative folks: Don't be afraid to let people know your stuff is out there for them, or worry that "now is not the time for that." People are stressed and freaked out and looking for the things that will give them a moment of rest and joy. It is EXACTLY the time for what we do. Tell them.

A reminder: Amazon being out of stock is not "sold out everywhere". There are thousands of copies on store shelves at B&N and your local indie shop, and at calendar specialty retailers, both online and at the mall.

Amazon just didn't order enough copies back in June.

Check eatf.art for some links!
It's not too late -- Effin' Birds 2025 calendars are on the shelf at your local book or calendar shop.
