My hunch about Musk: His DOGE project, while clearly illegal, is intended to give Trump cover: He'll claim to have reduced spending and the deficit in order -- you guessed it -- to make room for his budget busting tax cuts for the rich. #Musk #DOGE #Trump #taxcut

My new book comes out in three weeks -- and it has a lot to say about Trump, the border and immigration and the powerful untold history behind all of it. Lots of praise (thankfully) and press interest. On presale now. #elpaso www.harpercollins.com/products/the...

I have and will continue to. But you know why I say it here ? Because @bsky.app is 30m strong and growing quickly. The collective wisdom and influence of users here is far greater than any individual democrat.

I can't say it enough. Bluesky can be the influence that can counter RW media.
No offense, Mark, but you have influence and power most of us don’t. Why don’t you speak up to those in DC you have connections with? Actions speak louder than words as you well know.

As a former OMB staffer, I know what government efficiency looks like. And, I will use every tool available to work across the aisle and combat policies that are harmful to Americans.

Somebody read a book. Trump's themes seemed throwbacks, especially renaming Denali Mount McKinley. It turns out both liked wars in the Americas (Cuba, Puerto Rico; now Canada and Mexico), the Panama Canal, The Philippines, Hawaii now Greenland and Denmark, China and wait for it: the gold standard.
