Can be political, but maybe that should be on the Other Platform.
Dabbling with geometry. I think we did this at school. I've rediscovered it while solving something else.

Centre of internal circle is equidistant from each line, so has to lie on all 3 angle bisectors.

Exterior circle centre is equidistant from each point, so has to lie on the line bisectors.

Grrrr Proxy objects! Make debugging a nightmare.

I have straight and paddles :)
An old Kent key, and a Begali.

I think that's mean. I put "primary" in the last box because it's the obvious correction for "secondary" and is, I believe, right.

My other challenges were yes I identified that WiFi avoided trailing cables but you had to say "trip hazard".

I'd forgotten how useful the spectrogram can be for aligning things. Though this was easy with the waveform. I tweked it to get the bass notes in phase that way.

Aligning karaoke with original songs so that our pantomime group can practice. It's very difficult or hard with old recordings played by humans because tempo varies. Modern recordings may use more MIDI instruments, but even when they are human musicians tempo is often machine corrected.

Seems I need to set my grinder coarser. At least as it's a hand grinder this will make it easier to turn.

Apparently pour over should take 3 minutes.

Standard kettles are hard to get the flow rate right with.

The AI still needs some work. I was wondering if the Godfater was the older film and gave the idea of baddy with cat.

Best route is West along the road to the next bridge. That's not marked FB on the map. The old symbol for bridge I learned is on the 1:50k scale not the 1:25. Not shown there either.

This is the same area rendered on the OSMaps phone app and web app. The path was inaccessible either way, though it could be interesting to go back and try to find the footbridge shown on the web app only. We tried the main bridge clearly marked on the mobile app.

It's for my son honest!

I may have to up my target.

Today's run I followed the speed prompt and slowed down. That apparently put my heart rate in Endurance Zone.

So am I best doing longer slower runs rather than speeding around the course as fast as possible?

This one even has a coffee cup holder ;)

Not these ones but not too dissimilar.

This is a setup I go backpacking with. The radio is arguably handholdable but I use a wire antenna on a fibreglass mast.

The Garmin Running Coach still wants me to run very slowly. If I'm to run a half marathon in 1:45 or even better 1:30 I'm going to have to be able to sustain better than this speed for nearly 3 times the distance.

Interesting. Different picture of the back suggests it can take PCIe
December 13, 2024 at 6:41 PM
Interesting I ticked the box for internal WiFi and it seems to have offered me a PCIe card. This PC requires an NVM slot mounted WiFi adatper.

The first one they sent failed on its first camping trip unfortunately. They've replaced under warranty (very good support) so I'm giving this one a test before it goes out camping.

318W, throwing some random peripherals into the mix to make space.

Looking at building, with the problem of throttling the CPI if it gets out of hand. A slightly bigger PSU would be safer. 300 is the standard for the half height case. No plans to install the graphics card just putting it in the calc.

Given that Coach Amy is likely an AI (even if a simple feedback control system) I wonder if I should have not told it/her about the long route home I took after the benchmark run. It depends on whether the AI reads only the 5 minute benchmark interval or averages my performance over the whole run.

rying the Garmin Half Marathon Training Plan. This is what it has planned for me Wednesday after I tried running as fast as I could for 5 minutes today.
It doesn't seem to know about my gym work, cycling, rock climbing......

I'm looking a Key Cabinets and Camp Stoves apparently.
