Can be political, but maybe that should be on the Other Platform.

Hello here too. Though I'm afraid I've not got so involved here either. Life is busy.

Daily Mail headline screaming about what must be less than a fraction of a percentage error, but it's a dig at trans people.

The Guardian writes about the Netflix documentary "Adolescence". The writer says that he's not savvy enough to block access to harmful content.

I'm tech savvy. I see how these platforms actively fight attempts to control them.

This product has been gaining discussion around various Facebook electronics forums.

I think I can understand some of the technobabble, but I'd have thought any effects negligible.

Dabbling with geometry. I think we did this at school. I've rediscovered it while solving something else.

Centre of internal circle is equidistant from each line, so has to lie on all 3 angle bisectors.

Exterior circle centre is equidistant from each point, so has to lie on the line bisectors.

This is something I'd want to see addressed.

The government response so far is to fob it off.
Petition: Create a public consultation on freedom of speech and disinformation
We believe that lies, fraud, and media toxicity threaten our way of life. We think new mechanisms are needed to preserve confidence. How else can people know what to trust?

Looking at past GCSE computer science papers. Apparently ASCII is 8 bits. I thought it was 7.

"LWC1121: The argument for a dynamic import must be a string literal"

Methinks there's something about the word "dynamic" what whoever put that error checking in failed to understand.

I'm finding that climbing is a lot about confidence. I made myself go up the higher grades last night. The moves were hard and felt unsafe but I got through them finding the stable positions at the end of each sequence.

Aligning karaoke with original songs so that our pantomime group can practice. It's very difficult or hard with old recordings played by humans because tempo varies. Modern recordings may use more MIDI instruments, but even when they are human musicians tempo is often machine corrected.

Seems I need to set my grinder coarser. At least as it's a hand grinder this will make it easier to turn.

Apparently pour over should take 3 minutes.

Standard kettles are hard to get the flow rate right with.

This is the same area rendered on the OSMaps phone app and web app. The path was inaccessible either way, though it could be interesting to go back and try to find the footbridge shown on the web app only. We tried the main bridge clearly marked on the mobile app.

AMOLED screens on watches? The Garmin Epix is cheaper than the Fenix 7 at the moment. I'd wanted, if I bought such a watch, an LCD screen for better daylight and always on. But the Epix is cheaper?? Undecided (so may buy neither as I can't decide)

Still receiving so many unsolicited emails of the form "Please complete your loan application" and "Your loan is ready for you". Ones I've tried to trace have turned out to be dodgy foreign companies, and it looks like marketing rather than fraud. Annoying though.
