Just watching the first episode of Marvellous Miniature Workshop on BBC catch up. Really interesting programme but could be even better if the volume of the background music could be dialled down. Otherwise, an excellent programme

It's strange to think that, but for happenstance, that sideboard should be rotting away on the seabed. Belfast City Hall has to be one of the most impressive civic buildings and the exhibition is definitely worth a visit.

"The Nunnery" army married quarters in Alderney which housed SNCOs of the Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry from 1924-27. Images from c1924 and 2023. Structure in front is German bunker from the Nazi occupation.
