Lee Moor House, Dartmoor. Originally owned by China clay merchant Reginald Martin, it later served as offices for English China Clays Ltd. The photo was taken in 1983 prior to its demolition.

Hero of Waterloo, Baron Seaton, Sir John Colborne. His statue once stood at Seaton Barracks, Plymouth. It now stands in Winchester adjacent to the Rifles Museum.

Seen at Kilmurry Independence Museum: remnants of Crossley tender(s) from Kilmichael ambush. At least one of the tenders was just 3 months old when destroyed as evident from manufacturer's plate.

Michael O'Reilly, just 16 years of age, was killed 22 November 1920 in Capel Street, Dublin. Private Hampton of the Duke of Edinburgh (Wiltshire Regt) was found to have accidently discharged his rifle. Image from the Freeman's Journal - published 24 November 1920.

John Gooding AKA Frank Harding, career criminal and hapless secret agent was born 1868 in Devonport. In 1920 he embarked on a failed mission to entrap Irish revolutionary Michael Collins. In 21 Nov 1899, Harding was reported in the Devon Evening Express to have committed bigamy.

Grave of Capt. Francis Crake located yesterday in Elswick Cemetery, Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Capt. Crake M.C. of the ADRIC, died in the Kilmichael ambush of 28 Nov 1920. The inscription reads "Also their beloved son Capt F. W. Crake who was killed in Ireland Nov. 28th 1920. Aged 27 years".
