The next mass protest should be a March on Washington 2025!!!
Who’s for it?
Thousands in Portland, Oregon, showing up for the #HandsOff protest there. (video via my dad!)

“That’s part of the sickness in America, that you have to think in terms of who’s the best, who’s the worst, who’s the good guy, who’s the bad guy… Everybody has their own value in different ways, and I don’t like to think who’s the best at this. I mean, what’s the point of it?” *Marlon Brando

It’s time for Americans to eat some humble pie. The dynamics of an economic superpower is eroding away to be replaced by a “perhaps” dangerous foe. You’ve been warned.

I’m currently being treated for Stage 2 cancer. As such, I’ll be damned if I don’t speak out on Trump’s funding on R&D ( Biden’s Moonshot Initiative and the like) and treatments. We all have to fight. Cancer touches most families.

In 2022, California paid the Federal government $699.2 billion. What the state received in return was just $609.1, therefore the state is a net contributor of $83 billion to the federal government. If California can’t secede from the nation, perhaps we can keep our payments and fund

Plausible deniability I’d say from this administration!
So the administration ADMITS it mistakenly arrested and sent a father to El Salvador, but then can’t right the wrong because, well, he’s in El Salvador?

Is this right?

Agreed. 1 in Europe and 1 in the Middle East. If there is a “curtain” of nuclear deterrence around the world, not just in the hands of few, perhaps we would have a better world.
The geostrategic world we now live in: "If Europe wants to deter American imperialism, the creation of a separate nuclear umbrella, wholly independent of the United States, is necessary."

Forgot to repost something extremely cool that the Guardian did, which is an extremely direct form of public service that deserves to be recognized.
This is cool. The Guardian recreated a searchable climate future risk tool (wildfire, extreme heat, drought, hurricane, and coastal flood) for the US that was developed by FEMA but deleted by the Trump administration’s ‘climate’ purge.

It’s really sad to read posts from Palestinians in Gaza reaching out on this platform for financial support. Yet, I can’t help think that these are scammers using a new tactic. Be aware and smart!

I thought that Israeli’s were supposed to be “genteel” people not genital
At certain checkpoints in Hebron and Jerusalem, Israeli soldiers are known to routinely expose their genitals to Palestinian women, with one case involving a 14-year-old schoolgirl being molested by an Israeli soldier during a security search.

Due to increased egg prices, some families are adopting innovative approaches to traditional Easter activities. Alternatives such as painting potatoes, dyeing marshmallows, and using decorated plastic eggs are gaining popularity.
