Don’t want to hear any more from the Jewish people about the holocaust when they are doing the same thing to the Palestinians!

2/8 It treats political behavior...like a math problem...instead of a human one.

People don’t make decisions based on policy spreadsheets.

They decide based on: identity...community norms...cultural expectations...personal experience...and the narratives they trust most.

I personally am not becoming numb to it. If anything, I've become more sensitized to violence, cruelty & injustice as I've aged. I've had to stop watching ICE abuse videos & the military murder videos of innocent Venezuelan boaters. Seeing the sadistic violence of this regime triggers a rage in me.

Without active resistance...the mind will adapt...and the flinch reflex will dull. That’s why your refusal...to let it become normal...has to be a daily...intentional stance.

Hold fast to that. It’s how the psyche stays alive in times like these.

1/2 🧵Good. Thank you. That’s the point. A nation only slides into darkness...when decent people start numbing out of pure exhaustion.

But...here’s the part most folks don’t realize: resisting that numbing isn’t a passive state...it’s an active discipline.

A reminder Japan on-sells more Australian gas to other countries than is consumed on the entire East Coast of Australia.

We don't need *more* gas, we need to tax our gas exports properly

It’s true — decades of giving Pauline Hanson a platform as if her views were mainstream has chipped away at confidence in the media. When harmful rhetoric is normalised for the sake of ratings, audiences learn not to take the outlets seriously.
