The thing I see as someone who's spent a lot of time and money inside both Second Life and VRChat, is the key distinction for content-creation in VRC that hurts me as a furry that really values the ability to customize yourself. VRC Creators are making Characters. SL Creators are not.

I was already a too-young child playing Furcadia when I made my account on SL in 2005 (19 years ago this month). I was on the Teen Grid first, being 13, but all the cool stuff was on Main Grid so I moved over pretty immediately.
I've still got a full inventory of old full-prim avatars.

What brought you to #secondlife?
I joined after seeing it featured in an episode of CSI:NY. The had a sim inworld where you could solve a murder so I joined to do that and stayed for the friends I made.
