But not to negate your senses... I wish I could say you're wrong, while some are aware and actively supportive, it's true a lot of cis folks are ignorant - as in just don't know, some are hateful, and others are just selfish and would look the other way rather than risk their own comfort.

I realized years ago that the US was a few steps into the stages of genocide with its treatment and dehumanization of trans people.
Trans people have given me so much. I notice. I'll keep noticing, and helping where I can. I give direct aid. I teach teens to be kind. I'm vocal with my MP and MLA.

Through the Nichiren sect the 'hemorrhoid god' reached a large audience (he remained popular until the development of modern medicines).
In Kyōto 'Shūzan Jiun Reijin' found a home at Enjō-ji (圓成寺), a temple founded in 1630 by Nichinin (日任), 21st abbot of Honman-ji (本満寺).

That next part is coming very soon, and the public is primed to accept it. I'd bet trans women have the highest unemployment rate in the US right now. We've already disappeared from many social spaces and no one cares - they won't notice or care when we're disappeared for good.

If you gave me a billion dollars, I would become the most popular person for quite a long time, because every struggling mom I know would get a bunch of money. I would pay for people's fun and for their worries to go away. I'd help people. He has an empire, but it's eternally empty. No love or hope.

I mean... In Vancouver it's hardly a far jump to go to the US for custom work. And there were (and likely still are) shops willing to do illegal custom work.

Used to be in BC cops would pull over drivers with lights that were "too blue", like even if they were white with a blue tinge. I'm thrown now when I see like under-lighting or other custom lighting that's blue. I guess the rule changed or they stopped enforcing it.

Moonstruck does have the benefit of an unhinged Nicholas Cage. Like. More than usual. Which is saying something.
Oh, and Witches of Eastwick is great fun. Her whole dynamic with Jack Nicholson is incredible. The long string of insults - amazing. And Nicholson is the best Devil.

The number of times I've said "Cher is a good actress" and people stare incredulously... Like. She won an Oscar. I do think she should have won for Mask rather than Moonstruck, but Meryl Streep won the year Mask was up, so... I also love Suspect.
