I see it. I have lived it. 83 years ago, the U.S. government turned upon a group of its own citizens and residents and sent them to internment camps without due process. I was there among them. American fascism is back. It is here. It is now.

reading the docs, this strikes me as less of a “daring the court to enforce its order” situation and more of a situation where a) the admin tried to read the tro narrowly and the court is here rejecting that, and b) the admin is genuinely having difficulty turning things back on quickly enough

the frenzy over the hunter biden pardon is a good reminder that the press knows how to make something a scandal and has decided that nothing trump does is truly deserving of that treatment

Sound view.
My take on the Hunter Biden news is that trump has proposed creating a network of concentration camps to deal with the undocumented millions in our country

So say we all. (Oops, wrong franchise.)
Six decades later, Star Trek may still be the only franchise based on the ideas that diversity is strength, justice is the measure of civilization, bounty is to be shared, peace is worth the price, and all these things can be achieved.

We need more shows that look ahead and find goodness.

They also had fewer ER visits, nights spent in a hospital, and jail stays.

The report estimates that this reduction in public service use SAVED the city $589k.

Nothing at the moment is driving me quite as nuts as the folks who are earnestly preaching how Dems must reignite themselves because of their election “disaster.” On what planet? Trump edged out a candidate who had only 15 weeks to campaign and who was running against a global anti incumbent trend.
