I’m so disillusioned, depressed, discouraged, pissed off, and exhausted. I feel like Thelma and Louise had the right idea driving off the cliff at the end of the movie. I just don’t feel like there is an end in sight. 3 weeks of this shit and I am done. I am usually more optimistic.

These 2 have kept me sane since Nov 5. The orange baby is a girl (Chuuya) and is obsessed with the other. He (Juno) is blind and mostly deaf, and could care less about the baby. But they give me life and make me happy. My kid named them after anime characters.

If they get rid of the federal department of education, what happens to the states department of education? Do they remain intact? Just no more federal funding?

The lapdogs in Congress are already bowing to their master. What happened to the independent advice and consent of the Senate? So much for checks and balances. Americans must tell our representatives in Washington that we expect them to do their jobs.

This might be too soon but how the hell do we get thru the next 4 possibly more years. How ? Is there any hope? I don’t feel like there is and I never feel like that. Is fighting really going to help? I’m feeling really unsure, which is also a new feeling and I don’t like it.
