Setting up a new monthly event for Unity of Central MA. The discussion will be centered around developing a spiritual practice (using Unity teachings) and how this can be incorporated with the 12 Steps of Recovery! I can't wait! I'm grateful that I get to do this. It's a joy! ~ Blessings, KK

It's time to lead by example... thank you for the reminder, Dr. Glenn. ~ Blessings, KK
I need you, survivors & addicts in recovery, to understand: we are more important to saving civilization-- literally saving it-- than people who mock, criticize, & attack us or our journeys. The philosophies & tools we develop, use, & teach in recovery will get us humans through the bad times.

Release and Let Go…of What???

Happy New Year, friends! It's hard to believe that we have arrived at 2025 so quickly. Time truly flies, whether I'm having fun or not, apparently!

"One of the great tragedies of mankind is that morality has been hijacked by religion. So now people assume that religion and morality have a necessary connection. But the basis of morality is really very simple and doesn't require religion at all."

"We return thanks..."
Native American Thanksgiving prayer

We return thanks to our mother, the earth, which sustains us.

We return thanks to rivers and streams, which supply us with water.

We return thanks to the trees, which provide us with fruit.

We return thanks to the wind, which moves the air to banish diseases.

The world is an unpredictable and chaotic place right now. And even more so with the holidays approaching. Make sure to check in with the people around you. You never know who might need that kindness.

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. It is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear and permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

We may be getting deluged by a seemingly endless stream of news right now, but the world’s richest person hobnobbing with the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism is probably something we should be talking about a whole lot more.
