In my experience, courage is usually the product of love and/or solidarity. When we are deeply invested in each other, we are more likely to take risks that we wouldn't take out of mere principle, or for the sake of people we feel disconnected from. Our alienation mass produces cowardice.

I know this salient thing here is the lack of transparency. But I can't skip over the fact that all over the country we are replacing land that grows MATERIAL FOOD with facilities that house ABSTRACT NONMATERIAL data and use up our water, too.

My fundamentalist Christian clients are often afraid of trying meditation at the wellness program I work at because they were taught to be deeply afraid of it. Yet the only way to heal trauma is to learn to be in the moment, see the dialectical Both& of reality, and regain power over your own mind.

I have cobbled together a group of girlies and today one affirmingly noted me as an "honorary girlie" in the group chat and it made me happy. I am not a girlie but I do be on girlie time sometimes. We went to the farmers' market and looked at crystals last weekend. 🌸☕💎🪴
