Ugh... was listening to @wfaach8.bsky.social this morning and they were talking to either the head or or spokesperson for @americanair.bsky.social & @southwestairlines.bsky.social pilot's union/association about the FAA's cut back of flights.

I was on a great panel on this at @armadillocon.bsky.social - writer's block is TOTALLY a thing. I fought a lot of guilt from those who dismiss it. Mine was Day Job related and totally real for a long time. It took longer than I thought to come out of.

Writer's block is a thing. Just because you haven't experienced it yourself, doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Everybody's writing process and *EXPERIENCE* is different, so to dismiss what could be an important part of that process and experience (even a negative part) is arrogant and clueless.

Also this... The East Wing... It's where the First Ladies have had their offices and such. Maybe I'm reading stuff into stuff - but is this demolition also a metaphor? He has no first lady, so this is useless...and anything related to women doesn't matter.

It's been no secret that I am basically a Pen Dragon. I don't JUST collect... I have a freakin' hoard. @hollyfrey.bsky.social, the SYMHC ballpoint pen and behind the scenes episodes came in the middle of this organization project. Jimmy was a huge help. And this isn't quite all of them (98%-ish).

It took me a very long time to learn "do your best" does not mean "give 100% effort even at the expense of your physical or mental health" or "give A+ effort even when it is clearly not appreciated or valued". Sometimes doing your best is heating up a can of soup and going to bed early.
