Reminder that words matter. You can’t “deport” a US citizen. You might be kidnapping, disappearing, exiling, expelling, illegally removing, etc., but you’re not “deporting” a US citizen.

Please!! Join the movement. May 1st is a Thursday and I understand that not everyone can afford childcare or risk your job, but what if we chose 1 hour? 1 hour where we just stopped everything. Closed the roads because everyone stopped driving. No TV was on. No coffee shop was filled. 1 hour. 1pm

The memorial isn’t a bill and doesn’t hold the weight of a law, but many may not be aware that Idaho has a trigger ban tucked into its constitution that says if federal protections were ever removed for same-sex marriage, a ban could take effect immediately in Idaho.
