The 25 year mark usually defines "classic" or "retro". That said, GameCube and PS2 have been referred to as retro for a while.

Agreed! I was also late to the party watching the new Superman movie and have to say I was disappointed after critics were claiming it was really good. The plot made no sense, the characters were nowhere near as good as GotG, and the CGI was definitely not great. Same critiques for F4.

Oh true! You could time it up to make a completion each time, but the other player could jump the route as well. Bo Jackson was just impossible to catch.

Try to beat it straight through. It's pretty tough if you're playing like it was meant to be played and not using save stages through an emulator. But once you get it down, you can beat it on a single life.
