Solutions exist:
✅ Marine Protected Areas that are truly protected (e.g. where bottom trawling is banned) - most of them currently ARE NOT
✅ Slower ship speeds in whale habitats
✅ Cetacean detection systems
✅ Modified shipping routes
✅ Real-time whale tracking alerts

Same experiences here! There's a whole "f#ck doom" movement which sometimes doesn't allow for an in-between option between doomism and forced hope.

For example, sure, medical plastics are incredibly useful - though I'm sure we will replace them in time.

But that's not the argument anyone is making about the pervasiveness and destruction caused by microplastics (most of which isn't caused by medical equipment!).

But aside from the obvious lies, it's the more pernicious arguments and half truths that are trickier to deal with.

Twisting the truth is how they work.

MailerLite is great and cheap! Also comes with unlimited (decent) websites on the cheapest plan - good for microsites.
