Not only is burning the flag protected by the First Amendment, it's also in the US Flag Code that the correct way to dispose of a tattered, damaged, or faded flag is by burning it. It wouldn't surprise me if Mango Mussolini started chucking Boy Scouts into the gulag, though.
Last I checked, Congress makes the laws, not the White House.

The lack of reading and comprehension skills in America right now is terrifyingly abysmal. Trying to have a meaningful conversation with people who don't understand what a data point is or what the average cost of something is makes me want to bash my head against a wall.
